We are adding top-of-the-notch machines and also tend to older machines, therefore we’re looking for your experience in both older and new equipment. At tesa, people, quality, and safety come first.   • Responsible to setup, operate, monitor, and adjust the slitting machine for quality production, and perform routine machine maintenance as well as maintaining a clean and neat work environment.
  • Be able to work and communicate well with the project team in the start-up phase of the machine, and communicate with team members frequently.
  • Be able and willing to find optimized machine parameters for new products; be confident to operate the machine without a complete given set of machine parameters and work instructions.
  • Support of and participate in hand-packing process
  • Constantly improve processes and procedures for getting the most of the machine
  • Uphold all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines and procedures, as well as ensure high product quality like in all other positions in the plant
  • Perform all other job duties associated with a position in converting, for example, but not limited to, complete production paper work and entering data into computer, follow instructions, operate pallet jack, and work without close supervision, and communicate well with other team members and across all shifts.


  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • High school graduate or equivalent work experience with basic math skills.
  • Previous machine related experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 30-45lbs frequently and 50lbs occasionally.
  • Knowledge of metrics helpful. Along with the ability to use calculator and measuring tools.
  • Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate with others and work without close supervision.
  • Requires good hearing and correctable vision.
  • Must be able to earn and maintain a powered industrial truck license.
  • Hours: any as required, including overtime
  • Must be able to work within the framework of 5S, ISO and TS requirements.
  • Job Related Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Experience on rewind slitter operations preferred, but not required.
