  • Overview

    The IT Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for supporting company employees with installation, repair, and upgrade of Personal Computer systems as well as associated PC software; Coordinate computer introductory training for end users.


    • Installs and configures workstations, software and related devices.
    • Ensures that end user systems are up and running.
    • Performs schedules repairs, maintenance and upgrades of end user equipment.
    • Diagnose PC failures and take appropriate action in a timely fashion to resolve problem.
    • Responsible for PC hardware and accessories inventory.
    • Maintain, prepare, organize and implement training for hardware and software within corporate standards to all PC users.
    • Keep current on new technology that may be applicable within the organization.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by IT management.



    • Requires: CompTIA A+ within 6 months of hire date
    • 2 Years’ experience in the following or related areas:
      • PC hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair.
      • Microsoft Windows based PC hardware and software support.
    • Self-starter, works under general supervision.
    • Demonstrate successful team member experiences.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Must be willing and able to travel ( 10% )
