    The Talent Development and HR Programs Sr. Manager, ensures that human resource programs support the long-term goals of the company. This position develops and conducts regular HR training for employees and managers; oversees career paths, and assists with coaching employees’ with development. The Sr. HR Manager will report to the HR Director of North America to assist in overseeing the work of the HR Business Partner, Consultants and Analysts, as it relates to the implementation and administration of HR programs, training and initiatives within the business. This position works closely with the Director of Human Resources in developing, implementing and evaluating ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, training curriculums, and activities. This position is responsible for the execution of: leadership development, performance management, HR programs, communication and diversity initiatives, etc., all of which help further the goals of the HR delivery model. The Sr. HR Manager will accomplish this by providing sound judgement, guidance and thought partnership to support and drive innovative solutions that will enable the business to achieve their goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Develops, plans, and administers various human resources programs.
    • Advises and trains employees on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resource activities.
    • Assists the HR Director to analyze and develop solutions for: Talent Development, Succession Planning, Organizational Design, Organizational Effectiveness & Development, Employee Engagement, Change Management, and Associate Relations.
    • Develops HR training programs and facilitates courses.
    • Assists the HR Director in the daily administration of other HR services as directed or assigned, including recruitment and selection, promotions, transfers, contract negotiation and administration, affirmative action/EEO compliance, job classification, performance evaluation, and employee relations in accordance with quality management principles and overall objectives of the organization.
    • Researches, analyzes data and prepares quarterly reports on HR trends, new HR project suggestions and current program goals and progress.
    • Develops, revises and implements HR program policies and procedures, and updates Employee Guidebook.
    • Provides advice and counsel to department heads, managers and staff on updating and interpreting programs.
    • Ensures HR programs are compliant with other established policies and procedures and with any relevant federal, state or local legislation.
    • Develops, coordinates and recommends changes for the improvement of workflow in HR programs and operations.
    • Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects.
    • Conducts periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures.
    • Works on special projects.
    • Participants on special and cross-functional project teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or minimum 7+ years’ experience with managing Talent Development and HR Programs
    • Experience with Organizational Design and Change Management Methodologies
    • Must be PC proficient in Windows/Microsoft Office, HR Reporting and Analytics
    • Experience working on cross-functional teams
    • Able and willing to travel up to 10%
